CEREC technology allows our team to design, create, and place custom restorations during one office visit. CEREC is often used to build restorations like dental crowns, fillings, and porcelain veneers. This technology eliminates the need for messy dental impressions and extended office visits. Using a handheld scanner, your dentist takes digital impressions of the teeth and surrounding area. The impressions are converted to digital images and then into 3-D virtual models on the computer screen. The restoration design data is sent to an in-office milling unit. It only takes a few minutes to create a long-lasting, natural-looking restoration. Our team can fit and place all restorations in our Bradenton dentist office.
Cone Beam Scanner
The cone beam scanner provides a comprehensive view of the mouth and all its surrounding structures. This advanced technology allows your opportunity to assess both hard and soft tissue with just one machine. The scan takes 3-D images of the teeth, jawbone, nerves, and other structures to diagnose and treat a wide range of dental issues. This technology also helps dentist find a more accurate placement for dental implants, which helps ensure greater treatment success.
Digital dentistry allows patients to receive advanced treatments to traditional dental concerns. We incorporate a number of digital technologies into our practice to enable a more collaborative process between our team, other specialists, and our patients. By integrating digital technologies into our office treatment can be performed more efficiently and effectively than ever before.
